The centre was started in 1916.
Activities of the Math centre :
A free coaching centre with 75 students (including computer
training to 38 students)
A library with 873 books and 2 periodicals and newspapers.
A charitable homoeopathic dispensary, which treated 2704 cases
during the year.
Monthly free eye camps and special medical camps (433 patients treated) during the year.
Welfare work by way of providing clothes, blankets, foodgrains and pecuniary help to the needy and textbooks and notebooks to poor students.
Daily worship and regular religious classes.
Celebration of the birthdays of Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother
Sri Sarada Devi, Swami Vivekananda and other religious personalities,
as also Kali Puja and Annapurna Puja.
A students' home with 3 students who were maintained free of all charges.
