The centre was started in 1921.
Activities of the Mission centre :
Three higher secondary schools for girls with 3557 students.
A middle school with 139 students.
A primary school with 298 children.
Two hostels with 97 boarders and another with 13 orphans.
Five libraries with 31,719 books, and 11 newspapers and
periodicals.
Apart from teaching normal students, special care is taken for slow
leaners and physically challenged students having hearing impairment,
Dyslexia, slow learners and paralysed hand.
Religious activities: Providing moral and religious instructions
to the students and observing the birthdays of Sri Ramakrishna,
Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi, Swami Vivekananda and other
religious teachers.
