This centre was started in 1927 and made a branch of the Mission
in 1930.
Activities of the Mission centre :
A library with separate sections for children and university students. It had 39,393 general books, and 162 newspapers and periodicals. The section for university students had 4055 books.
A computer training centre with 481 students.
A free coaching centre where 52 students of nearby municipal schools were given coaching.
A homoeopathic dispensary, which treated 27,151 cases during the year. Accupressure system of treatment treated 3170 cases.


A mobile medical unit, which treated 19,456 cases this year.
A modern free TB clinic at Karol Bagh, which treated 17,962 outpatient cases this year. Under the home treatment scheme, the clinic extended its medical services to patients unable to come to the clinic through their contacts.
A medical centre in the TB clinic premises, providing specialist consultancy services. It served 50,686 patients during the year.
Religious activities: In all, 182 religious discourses were held on weekdays and Sundays in the ashrama this year. Moreover, 114 occasional lectures were delivered in various cultural institutions and 110 value education programmes conducted in various educational institutions. Regular Sunday classes were held at Delhi University. Besides, the birth anniversaries of Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi and Swami Vivekananda were celebrated at the ashrama and in other localities in Delhi.
Two cultural centres, Sarada Children Forum with 20 children and Vivekananda Youth Forum with 20 youths.
Welfare work by way of distribution of blankets, and daily distribution of milk and other nutritious items to the needy.
A permanent exhibition on the important facets of the life of Swami Vivekananda and Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi. Additional Photos of the Activities of the Centre:
