The centre was started in 1930 and made a branch of the Mission
in 1943.
Activities of the Mission centre :
A higher secondary school with 1574 boys and 1491 girls.
A students’ home with 37 boys.
A small dispensary which treated 1085 cases.
Welfare work by way of providing educational assistance, food,
etc to the needy.
Religious activities included daily worship, bhajans, discourses,
and religious and cultural meetings.
A primary school with 360 boys and 370 girls. The students
were also trained in the basics of computer operations.
A library with 2300 books and 12 periodicals and newspapers.
Moral and cultural classes for 37 children on Sundays.
