The ashrama, situated near Kuala Lumpur, was started in 1977
and made a branch of Ramakrishna Mission in 2001. Swami
Supriyananda is its President.
Activities of the Mission centre :
Young World, a personality development programme for teaching to the youth moral and ethical values and art of right decision-making.
Yoga classes.
A small library and a bookshop.
Daily worship, evening arati, bhajans, Ramnam Sankirtan, weekly
religious discourses and fortnightly retreats.
Celebration of the birthdays of Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother
Sri Sarada Devi and Swami Vivekananda, and also some other
religious festivals.
The swami visited different cities and villages in and outside
Malaysia to participate in youth programmes, devotees’ meets,
retreats and discourses.
Personal interviews and spiritual counselling.
