This is a rural centre and was started in 1908.
Activities of the Math centre :
A middle school with 701 students.
Four free coaching centres with 2501 students.
An orphanage with 43 poor and destitute boys.
A library with 1779 books.
Vocational training in tailoring and typewriting to 82 poor women
during this year.
A charitable allopathic-cum-homoeopathic dispensary with
facilities for eye, dental and TB treatment and a clinical lab.
Total 63,436 cases were treated this year.
A mobile medical unit, (which treated 28,017 patients in
surrounding villages) and occasional medical camps.
Occasional poor feeding, distribution of milk, uniforms and
stationery to poor children, and providing pecuniary help to the
needy.
Daily worship and bhajans, weekly religious classes, and
celebration of the birthdays of Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother
Sri Sarada Devi and Swami Vivekananda in the ashrama and
nearby towns.
