Founded in 1933, this branch of Ramakrishna Math has Swami
Yuktatmananda as the minister-in-charge.
Activities of the Math centre :
Sunday service and two weekday classes.

Lectures in several cities of America, and meeting groups of students of comparative religion.
Talks and lectures at various educational and religious institutions.


Special services for Christmas, Good Friday, Easter, Divine Mother Durga, and the birthdays of Buddha, Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi and Swami Vivekananda.
Publication of a monthly announcement with an article by the swami and a number of books on the lives and teachings of Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother and Swami Vivekananda, and on the systems of Yoga and Vedanta.
A library and a reading room with 1160 books and 9 periodicals for members and friends, and a bookshop.
The centre’s website is a valuable source of inspiration for spiritual seekers and provides information to the public.
The house at Thousand Island Park (New York State), named Vivekananda Cottage, where Swami Vivekananda stayed and gave his Inspired Talks in 1895, served as a retreat for spiritual culture in summer. Daily vespers, meditation sessions, scriptural classes, a summer retreat programme, and a seminar were conducted during the period, attended by swamis, students and guests.
