The Seva Samiti (Mission centre) was started in 1917 and taken over in 1929.
Activities of the Mission centre :
- A students' home with 34 candidates.
- A library and a reading room with 5071 books (1458 issued this year), and 21 periodicals and dailies.
- Sunday moral classes for 43 children.
- A mobile medical unit that treated 22,351 cases this year.
- Rural development work by way of providing financial assistance to the weaker sections of society.
- Relief activities by way of distribution of food, bedding, utensils, etc to the poor and needy.
The Math centre was founded in 1949.
Activities of the Math centre :
- Daily worship and religious classes in and outside the Ashrama premises.
- Celebration of Durga Puja, Kali Puja, and the birth anniversaries of Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother, Swami Vivekananda, and other prophets.
- Welfare services.
