The centre was started in 1930 and made a branch of the Mission in 1943.
Activities :
- A higher secondary school with 1960 boys and 1921 girls.
- A students' home with 100 boys.
- A dispensary with allopathic and homoeopathic sections, which treated 4257 cases.
- Religious activities included daily worship, bhajans, discourses, and religious and cultural meetings.
