This centre was started in 1924 and made a branch of the Mission in 1938.
Activities :
- A students' home with 61 boys, all of whom were tribal.
- A library and a reading room with 4046 books and 10 newspapers and periodicals.
- A mobile dispensary, which treated 91,554 cases this year.
- Six non-formal schools in interior tribal areas with 387 students.
- Religious activities : Regular religious classes and celebration of Durga Puja, Kali Puja, and birthdays of Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi, Swami Vivekananda and other religious personalities.
