Started by Swami Shivananda (a direct disciple of Sri Ramakrishna) in 1902, this ashrama has for long served as a retreat for the old and retired monks of our Order.
Activities :
- A library and a free reading room with 17,174 books and 30 journals.
- Daily worship and bhajans.
- Performance of Durga Puja and celebration of the birthdays of incarnations and saints.
- Conducted about 302 religious classes and lectures.
