Admin Rehabilitation: Gujarat: (a) On 12 March, a four-room school building at Dhaneti village in Kutch constructed by our Rajkot centre was inaugurated and handed over to Sri Ramakrishna Seva Samiti, Dhaneti.
(b) Sixty houses at Parevada village in Rajkot district built by our Rajkot centre for Madari (snake-charmers) community, in collaboration with the Government of Gujarat, were handed over to the beneficiaries on 13 March.
May 19th, 2011 Admin Distress Relief: The following centres distributed various items, shown in the table below, to needy people:

May 19th, 2011 Admin Fire Relief: Assam: Our Karimganj centre distributed 125 kg rice, 25 kg dal (lentils), 50 dhotis, 25 saris and 50 plates among 25 families whose huts had been gutted by fire at Khat Line area in Karimganj.
May 19th, 2011 Admin Earthquake & Tsunami Relief: Japan: In wake of the devastating earthquake and the ensuing tsunami that hit the northeast coast of Japan on 11 March, our Japan centre distributed the following items to the victims: 101 blankets, 14 packets of milk powder, 38 water bottles, 75 soap bars, 1550 cotton masks, 183 towels, various sanitary materials and 500 postcards. The centre also purchased different kinds of green vegetables and dispatched them on 24 April to the shelters set up in the worst-affected areas in Tohoku.
